What is brand awareness? It’s a fairly general term describing how recognizable your brand is to your target market. What’s an easy way to make your brand stand out? Video. In this blog, I’ll break it down a little further to help readers understand just how important video can be in promoting your product(s) or service(s).


What are the different avenues for video?


Not every video advertisement has to be a TV commercial. If that’s something within the budget for your company, then by all means go for it. It’s a great tool to show your brand in front of a large audience. A major downside may be the lack of ability to target a certain audience. If you’re promoting a product or service in a specific area, running a commercial on a local network is a solid option.

In recent years, social media has transformed into the largest marketing platforms and is relatively inexpensive in relation to TV. Click on Instagram or Facebook and see how many video advertisements you see within the first few seconds of scrolling. Because of it being a saturated place for video advertisements, you have to make sure yours stands out. Just producing a quick video won’t always work. Get with a company, and really plan out a high quality video. This will help maximize your return on investment with the proper marketing.


Another great option is creating an evergreen video for your website. An evergreen video should have the ability to be used for several years and demonstrates the core values of your brand. It is very common to use these in the banner videos on a company’s website.

3D animation has become wildly popular in recent years as I’m sure most of you have seen. I mean…have you checked out the latest video games that have been released? The graphics are INSANE. They have been taken to an entirely new level thanks to modern technology and the advancement of 3D animation. 3D animation is not only used for video games, film, and TV, but also tons of companies are turning to it for their advertising. I know y’all have seen “The General” from The General Car Insurance commercials. That’s a great example of one of the earlier forms of 3D advertising.


These types of advertisements literally and metaphorically jump out at you. The animation is designed to capture and keep the attention of viewers to hopefully buy their product/service.
